She moved back to Atlanta in 2021 with the intention to expand her creative practice, with the goal to head towards full time creative work. She currently works in oils, and considers herself a surrealist.
Alexandra Ries has been creating art her entire life, coming from a long line of female artists in her family, she has never wanted to do anything else with her life. She received her BFA in Sculpture and Ceramics from Augusta University in 2018.
